The Fit Guide
Ensuring a perfect fit is essential when selecting your formal shoes. At Hide and Leather, we believe that comfort and elegance go hand in hand. To help you find your ideal size, follow this simple guide on how to measure both your foot length and width. It only takes a few minutes, and the result will be a pair of shoes that fit like a glove.
Step 4: Compare Measurements to Hide and Leather Size Chart
Once you have your foot length and width, compare them to our size chart to determine the correct size. Since our shoes come in both standard and wide fits, this will help you find the best fit for your foot shape.
Note: If your foot measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for added comfort, especially for formal shoes that may require a bit more room.
Step 6: Check Your Shoe Fit
Once you have your size, be sure to try on the shoes before finalizing your purchase. When trying on formal shoes:
- Ensure there’s about a thumb’s width (approximately ½ inch) of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.
- The arch of the shoe should align with the arch of your foot, and the heel should fit snugly without slipping.
At Hide and Leather, we believe that a perfect fit is the foundation of timeless style.
